PPE Donation
Mellonie Truong and Ben Hesch
On Thursday, December 17, Mellonie Truong of Innovation Health Group delivered medical grade face masks, hand sanitizer, face shields, and surface disinfectant to our main office in Guelph. This donation was made possible by Dr.Elaine Chin and her Masking Together Challenge that she is spearheading with a small team of volunteers.
Mellonie thanked FCSSGW for all of the work its staff does for the Guelph Community. She said Masking Together Canadian Challenge knew many who have been helped by our agency, and her organization was happy to be able to provide us with these resources.
Executive director Joanne Young Evans said that she was overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of Masking Together that will help #StopTheSpread.
Manger, mental health services Ben Hesch accepted the donation – socially distanced, of course! He reminds the community that the agency is open for face-to-face counselling and has been since July.
