Trained volunteers provide emotional support through active listening and empathy at times when you may feel stressed, overwhelmed, lonely, and hopeless. This service is confidential and free to all.

Hours of Operation: 8am-10pm, 7 days a week*

Trained volunteers and staff provide free and confidential emotional support and referrals to community resources; operators use active listening and provide an inclusive space to those who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, or to those who may be questioning their identity or sexuality.

A unique service where local community members can improve their social connection by receiving a daily phone call from a trained volunteer. Calls may focus on providing emotional support, casual conversation, or establishing reminders and prompts that support the needs of the individual.

No referral required. This is a free service and enrollment is voluntary for all residents of the Guelph-Wellington community. Simply call!

Seniors Offering Support is a free telephone visiting service for isolated seniors. Telephone visits are provided by senior volunteers who are kind and compassionate listeners.

The SOS program provides an opportunity for volunteers and clients to share stories, reminisce, talk about interests, and learn about programs and activities in the community.
