Family Counselling and Support Services for Guelph-Wellington’s 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, September 25, 2017 was an evening of information and inspiration, celebrating the work this agency has done within the Guelph and Wellington community. We were honoured to recognize the achievements of staff and board members. FCSSGW’s 2017 AGM was once again hosted by Community Living Guelph Wellington, our valued community partner. Those in attendance heard from Executive Director, Joanne Young Evans and the FCSSGW Board of Directors about the fiscal year’s achievements, including the presentation of FCSSGW’s 2017 Annual Report and 2016-17 Audited Financial Statements.
One of the evening’s highlights was keynote speaker Laura May Culver, author, parent, social worker, Personal Development Coach and Motivational Speaker, and her presentation about The Joy Journal. Each attendee received a joy journal of their own to customize and enjoy. By the end of the evening, clients, staff, directors, funding and community partners, walked away inspired and better informed about the essential programs FCSSGW offers to the community of Guelph and Wellington County.
