FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Family Service Ontario launches new website www.familyserviceontario.org

TORONTO, ON, OCT. 26, 2016 – Family Service Ontario (FSO) has launched a new website, www.familyserviceontario.org. Along with a more contemporary design, changes have been made to help its 43 member agencies, families and government partners from across the province to find the information and resources they need.

The new website has been developed with the needs of 43 member agencies as a priority. Family Service agencies deliver a wide range of mental health, trauma and wellness services to individuals and families in workplaces and communities across Ontario. It is the organization’s mandate to strengthen their work by providing a collaborative voice and building capacity.

The modern, mobile-responsive design was developed to reflect FSO’s unique and trusted voice in Ontario as it collaborates with members, engages with families and proactively consults with government and policy makers to advise on decisions and legislation that impact families.

“Just like our member agencies strive to support people where they’re at, the new FSO website will better engage our stakeholders where they are by providing easy access to the essential information they need,” says FSO Executive Director, Susan MacIsaac.

“This is the first phase in our plan to improve how we interact and communicate as a provincial network and ensure we are meeting our commitment to building strong families for a strong Ontario.”

Highlights of the new site include a robust “FSO in Action” section with information about advocacy and outreach initiatives, as well as the “Our Members” area for details on how to join FSO and the benefits.
