Staff from Family Counselling and Support Services were out in force to represent United Way funded agencies at United Way 2016 Campaign Kick-Off held at St.George’s Square, September 8, in Downtown Guelph.
Mayor Cam Guthrie, United Way Executive Director, Ken Dardano, and 2016 United Way Campaign Chair, Rick McCombie addressed the crowd, announcing this year’s campaign goal of $3.6 million.
The 2016 United Way Campaign runs through November. Payroll donations are accepted through many workplaces across Guelph and Wellington and Dufferin counties.
