FCSSGW’s 32nd Annual General Meeting

In the late afternoon of Monday, September 23rd, about 50 guests and staff and board members gathered for our 32nd AGM at Community Living Guelph Wellington. MPP Mike Schreiner provided a welcome greeting before the business portion of the meeting.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the staff service awards. Five staff members celebrating 5, 10, 15 and 20 years with FCSSGW were praised for their contributions to the agency and to its clients.

Keynote speaker Susan MacIsaac
Executive Director of Family Service Ontario Susan MacIsaac then took the podium to talk about the association that acts as the voice of family service agency members in Ontario and what is in the works at Queen’s Park.
Attendees were interested to hear how family service agencies are well positioned to lead change in Ontario right now and that they will continue to be an integral part of both healthcare and social services programs and services in the future.
