Got Duck? Race at Riverside Park
On July 1, FCSSGW was one of the agencies that participated in — and benefited from — the Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington’s Got Duck? race. Our agency will receive a portion of the proceeds from the event as a donation.
Our Volunteers
The day wouldn’t have been the success it was with out the sweat equity of our volunteers — and with the perfect sunny and hot Canada Day weather conditions, we were kept busy.
Staff members brought their families and board members and other volunteers from the community also helped to blow up 100 beach balls, sell a few hundred tickets and even dress up as a T-Rex!
Everyone had a great time, and we kept race-goers excited and entertained.
Thank you to the Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington for its generosity, and we hope to be back again next year.
