Our 34th Annual General Meeting Report and Year-in-Review Video
It’s a wrap! Our virtual AGM was a resounding success and had the largest registration yet — and for good reason.
What a year it’s been, and nothing summarizes all the challenges we met and overcame than our year-in-review video. As well, there is a video that summarizes all our services.
Thank you to our special guest and keynote speaker Neil Dunsmore. Neil spoke about his 530+ km walk to raise awareness around mental health and suicide to help end the stigma that keeps people who need help from seeking help. He recalled the many people who reached out to him on his journey and came to his aid on his walk to Ottawa. People like Jane who gave him a “magical massage,” and how talking to people helped him keep going. In his summary, Neil reminded us that raising awareness and ending the stigma of suicide and mental-health issues is its own journey and that “It’s impossible to be everything to everybody, but it is possible to be everything to someone.”
As always, here is a digital copy of our annual report, which summarizes the important work we accomplished in Guelph-Wellington this year with the help of our staff, board of directors, and volunteers.
